i graduated with my bachelor's in journalism, minor in mass communications, from st. john’s university. i interned with vibe magazine and followed a career of being a professional storyteller, mostly written and at times visual. my professional experience includes journalism as an entertainment reporter and breaking news editor, and advertising as a content strategist and lifestyle editor. in 2024, i transitioned into freelance full-time as a content strategist for lifestyle and holistic wellness brands and publications. my career goal is to open a creative studio to create impactful art for minority-owned lifestyle brands.
outside of my career aspirations, i am guided to provide to the People by building digital third spaces with a focus on mental health and holistic wellness for Black and lgbtqia+ folks.
